Lynn McIntyre

Lynn McIntyre is forever Team Teen Angst.

A former English teacher, Lynn has a deep appreciation for the complexity and emotional honesty of teens. Her writing invites readers to reexamine history through a fresh, critical lens, blending intellectual rigor with emotional resonance.

Drawing on her years in the classroom and her work in marketing for a K–8 school, she brings insight, intention, and a little bit of merriment to her debut novel, What We Are.

When she’s not writing, she’s reading, cheering from the sidelines, or having a glass on a patio. Lynn lives in Wisconsin with her husband, their three brilliant and terrible teenagers, and two perfect dogs.
